Motors for hot rolling mills

Hot rolling motors motors Special and custom-made motors for hot rolling mills are manufactured by our subsidiary INDAR. The motors required for the Steel industry, are machines incorporated with high torque and variable speed characteristics. With this purpose in mind the manufacturing program includes:

  • Low speed synchronous motors: controlled by cycloconverter- fed units.
  • High speed synchronous motors: controlled by reversing units
  • High-power asynchronous motors in general: controlled by units with PWM technique.
  • Direct current motors in general.

The design and manufacture of all these machines comply with diverse international standards in the steel rolling industry, like IEC, NEMA, AISE MILL, ASA, ANSI, VDE, JEMA and with any other standards peculiar to a given country or costumer request.
