CONTINUOUS CASTING: Bascotecnia Steel optimised processes of casting are ensured by:

• Measuring automatically the steel level in the tundish.

• A rigorous control of bath level of steel into the mould.

• An precise oscillation of mould.

• A fully automated cooling control.

After casting through a heavy duty extraction and straightening machine and by optimising the cutting length a final billet of good quality is achieved.
